Where Youth Find Their Voice

We Are Living Arts (WALA) is a captivating and unique experiential program designed for youth to find their voice. Youth are given the opportunity to work with Youth Peer Trainers along with local and international artists. After having the opportunity to create artistically and develop positive characteristics, they will engage their talents by hosting an event to the community showcasing their art via poetry, film projects, photography, dance, music, comedy, painting, sculpting, acting, etc.  Being able to explore different outlets in which they are able to express themselves, youth are presented with an opportunity to create, heal, and inspire at a personal and communal level.

WALA assists youth to become solution oriented, build resiliency, and embrace positive self-identity through various restorative practices through creative arts. As an international program, WALA offers unique specially designed opportunities for youth.

We welcome all indigenous youth i.e. Alaskan Natives, Tribes, Nations, Pacific Islanders, First Nations, etc. and offer service for middle school, high school, and mentorship for ages 18 and up.
